Before submitting a request, make sure to review our contribution guidelines. Review for the majority of funding requests generally takes between six and eight weeks. Requests greater than $25,000 can take up to three months.

Edison International accepts online applications for cash grants, scholarships and in-kind donations. Links to to cash grants and sponsorships are only available during funding cycles.

Due to the high volume of requests received and funded this year, there will be no August funding cycle. The next opportunity to submit grant applications is in February 2011.

Please Note
Year-end reports for all 2009 Edison support must be submitted prior to applying for additional grant funding. Please submit all reports electronically to: edison.gifts@sce.com. All current grantees will be required to submit year-end reports by no later than January 7, 2011 in order to qualify for funding consideration in 2011.
Funding requests generally take between six and eight weeks to review.
Edison’s corporate giving priorities are: education (math, science and engineering); environment; and underserved populations.
All requests require:
- Edison GIFTS online application (not available off cycle)
- IRS determination letter
- Project budget
For requests $10,000 and greater, please also submit:
- Audited Financial Statement
- Board Member Roster
- List of Major Contributors, including dollar amounts
- Optional) brochures, press clippings, letters of support, or other promotional materials, no videos please.
