On June 24, 2010, the EIX and SCE Boards of Directors approved a revised Ethics and Compliance Code applicable to Directors, officers and employees.  The Code revisions clarified the application of affiliate rules and other rules related to political contributions, gifts, and lobbying activities, insider trading, and intellectual property; emphasized management responsibilities and the companies’ concern for the environment; provided additional illustrative Q and A examples; and included technical, administrative or other non-substantive changes.  These revisions did not relate to or result in any waiver, explicit or implicit, of any provision of the Code.

Ethics & Compliance Code

The ideas and ideals found in this Ethics and Compliance code are an extension of our values at Edison International and reflect our continued commitment to ethical business conduct and compliance with the law. We can achieve long-term success as a company and as individuals only by acting ethically and complying with the laws, rules, and regulations that apply to our business.

This code applies to all employees and officers at every level and in every assignment within the Edison International companies, and to our board of directors when they act in that role. As you would expect, no one is above the requirements of this code.
